Performers Together CIC
Named descriptively as Performers Together, our logo includes the
Greek sign Sigma - the sum of all - we are a Community Interest
Company, a new form of business structure with charitable aims,
whose title defines our identity and which is ideally suited to a
venture of this sort.
What would a new venue offer?
Deriving from the original responses to the Blue Skies Report, our
new venue would provide:

Σ Festivals - of
choirs, dance, amateur theatre companies, school productions,
concerts and bands.
Σ Rehearsal facilities, particularly for choirs and
Σ Training in self presentation and related skills,
particularly for the young; also workshops in performance skills of
all kinds for all ages.
Σ Talks and lectures, also hire of the venue.

How we operate
The CIC needs a board of Directors and also Members who can vote and
will help inform policy.
Some Members have already offered expert advice in publicity and
business management but we welcome those with a wider variety of
skills. The way we intend to work is to get 100 people to do the
work of 5 not 5 to do the work of 100, thereby making the best use
of the specific and particular expertise of each volunteer, without
asking too much of any one person
